I was initially drawn to this hotel because of its large garden, which looked beautiful in the photos. However, my experience was marred by several issues. The room I was given was not anything like what was shown in the pictures, and it felt like I had been misled. The hotel itself felt run-down and old, with broken sun loungers outside and a dirty pool. The breakfast was also underwhelming, consisting of a small plate of sausage and egg without being asked if I wanted it.

I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of this hotel, but my experience at the restaurant was less than impressive. The menu was limited and overpriced, which detracted from my overall stay.

Although we didn't end up taking the room due to arriving with a pet, the management did accommodate us with an additional fee. However, we felt taken advantage of financially due to a recent change in ownership. On the other hand, I was frustrated with the lack of transparency between what was advertised and what actually happened when we spoke with the reception team.
