I spent four nights at this peaceful place in Porto de Pedras. The staff were very helpful and made you feel in good hands. Breakfast was good and the rooms were comfortable. The only issue was that parking was only available on the street outside the guesthouse. It wasn’t a problem for us, but in a busier season it could become a minor inconvenience.

We spent five nights at Maruê Guest House and left feeling like we’d been staying at a friend’s home. The place is tucked in a sweet spot of Porto das Pedras, just a short walk from the stunning Praia do Patacho, and the room was roomy with a lovely balcony to unwind on. Cris is genuinely friendly and makes you feel welcome, but the guest house sits out in the middle of nowhere, so finding anything to eat after dark is a hassle and the breakfast itself is just average.
