The place is close to the city center and the room was spotless with great bedding. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped. However, the location was in a quiet residential street that I personally didn’t enjoy, and the room felt smaller than I had expected.

The host, Wayang, was wonderful—he’d ask if I needed anything and took care of the place meticulously. When I texted him that the shared fridge was still full and I needed space, he immediately created cardboard dividers, moved other guests’ items, and set up a separate room for me. His quick, thoughtful response really touched me, so I decided to extend my stay. My room smelled amazing, the pillows, bed, and towels were fresh and clean, and the owner handled any issues promptly. The location was convenient with inexpensive local bakso restaurants, a gym, and a supermarket nearby. The downside is that walking along the main road is tough—no sidewalks and heavy traffic—so using a scooter or Grab is easier, but that’s not the guesthouse’s fault. I still love this place.
