The place sits in a perfect spot and the breakfast view is amazing, with a good variety of dishes. Vanh at the front desk was extremely helpful and even arranged a bus to Cat Ba for me. I stayed in mixed dorms, the rooms were fine, and the bathroom was pretty clean with plenty of shower cabins and toilet cubicles—open tops, so privacy was limited but acceptable because not many people used them, and there were two toilets near reception. The Wi‑Fi never worked at all, and the staff didn’t bother to address the issue, leaving me without internet for three days. Breakfast staff ignored my food restrictions; I couldn’t eat pork, but after asking twice a girl about a dumpling she said “Yes yes no pork,” and when I later asked the chef he admitted it contained pork—she never apologized or double‑checked. The key card kept deactivating even when I didn’t put it behind my phone or money, which was annoying, especially after a shower when I needed to get back to reception to reactivate it.

I got an incredible deal for the money; the room was roomy, spotless, and just lovely. The owners were warm and knew how to deliver top‑class service, and we even booked our next Hanoi stay before we left.

Very pleasant stay and excellent value for money. The location is perfect, right in the center of Sapa. The hotel is not new or luxurious and the building has a few years behind it, but it is welcoming, clean and absolutely fair for the price. We stayed for one night and everything was perfectly fine. The real highlight, however, was Alice. She was simply exceptional. From the moment we booked, she took care of everything. She arranged a private transfer from Lao Cai to Sapa for about half the price we had found online. She also booked our sleeping bus tickets and helped us with every single detail of our trip. She stored our luggage, helped us with an early check-out without any problem, and was always kind, efficient and incredibly helpful. Alice’s kindness was truly outstanding. She made the whole experience special. If our stay was a 10/10, a huge part of that was because of her. She is the kind of person who really makes a difference, and we will remember her with great pleasure
