“Disappointing”

It was a ok place to stay. The location was probably the best part about this hotel. Easy to get to places. The pool was also nice and I like that it’s opened until late. There are quite a few things. We actually booked from 19 - 28 but ended up checking out 2 days early due to disappointment. Firstly, when we checked into our hotel, the phone in the room wasn’t working. Then a few days into our stay there was a blackout where the power went completely off. There was also a banquet held in the middle of the lobby with probably about 50 people, which was quite uncomfortable for us as guests, felt like we were invading their space when it’s supposed to be a common area. Then during our last two days, the windows started (room 705) leaking which caused a big puddle of water all on our floor and when we requested to change rooms, they put us in a room where the door didn’t even close properly (room 508) We ended up leaving 2 days early, when I went to the reception, I told them that we would like to check out now because we are not happy. They just took our keycards and said all done. Didn’t even ask why we were unhappy and didn’t even come up with a solution to the issue. We ended up going to Areca Lodge next door for our last 2 nights, highly recommended that instead

“For the price we paid, overall a good experience”

The price was good and the central location convenient. However, the air‑con in the room malfunctioned and remained unfixed even after we reported it twice.
