The hotel is really in disrepair and needs room maintenance. The staff treatment was awful, especially a lady in the lobby on my checkout day who acted like a criminal and yelled at us for not handing over the room keys because one of us was leaving later; she took over 20 min to give me access to airport transport, I barely managed to check my luggage, and instead of offering a solution she just said the manager was on a call.

The resort offered a beautiful ocean view, but I found a maintenance man walking into my balcony room after knocking, which left me uneasy for the rest of my stay; additionally, when I opened the fridge for a drink, a dead roach was stuck on the water.

What impressed me most was the staff and their meticulous attention to detail—every team member was friendly, attentive, and ready to help, and they surprised me with a lovely birthday gift that made me feel like a king; the club and Riu Party were out of this world, almost Hollywood‑like, and the facilities and atmosphere made the experience unforgettable, especially thanks to waiter Jordanis; on the downside, my room had some dampness and many mosquitoes, so stronger fumigation is needed, and the Sport Bar could offer more food options at night, including vegan or restricted‑diet choices, and a 24‑hour prepared‑food area would be ideal even with a small menu.
