I liked the cookies and the receptionist was always pleasant and super helpful. The first morning’s breakfast was a nightmare: the staff member started packing up ten minutes before the end time, piled all the berries onto his trolley, and when I asked what was happening he said breakfast was over. I told him there was still time, but he replied, “not serving anymore, it’s over.” I almost got into a fight, but then an older white guy walked in, he stopped talking, and took most of the fruit, especially the strawberries, leaving only pineapple and yogurt from the cold side. I felt embarrassed because I had paid for the service and my boys were confused. The rest of the days we arrived earlier and the lady who served coffee was polite and cheerful, making us feel welcome. I’ll never forget that short, impatient young man who basically denied us the fruit and pastries that day.
