“Bustling city, comfortable home base.”
I received a free sightseeing planning session with a Rotterdam map tailored to my interests :D The fridge wasn’t the usual mini fridge but an under‑counter half‑size one (tough shared), which I found very useful. The dining table in the room was sturdy, nice, and larger than usual. The back gardens that my window faced were tranquil and nice. The stairs :D are standard for the Netherlands, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with mobility restrictions. I had no issues on my side. Don’t bring two full‑size 30‑kg suitcases if you can avoid it.
“Fijne uitvalsbasis om Rotterdam te verkennen”
Spacious, with a living‑room‑bedroom and a separate large bathroom with a bathtub. No negatives.
The host was super nice, the apartment was beautiful and roomy (the three of us had plenty of space), the location was quiet, and the bicycles were well maintained. All in all, top! Thank you very much. No negatives to mention.
The host was very friendly, the place was absolutely quiet, spotless, with excellent bedding and clear layout. The apartment had a lot of charm. The carpet and the fridge on the landing were shared, and the stairwell to the apartment was steep, so accessing the flat was a bit of a workout.
“great. since i now have girlfriend with dog, i need to find other place; if not, i would for sure stay at Alberti again”
The hosts let us use free city bikes, which I rode around with a good lock and front and back lights. Every day I cycled to “ahoy”, the North Sea Jazz Festival site, and back—sometimes over Erasmus Bridge, sometimes through the Maastunnel. I walked from Rotterdam Central train station to Alberti on arrival, and the return walk took about 15 minutes; for the return trip I walked to the Flixbus stop near the central station.
