Breakfast could have been better; only one coffee machine worked, there were queues at the toast machines because you had to put through twice, and the eggs were like bullets, way overcooked.
The location was excellent for the National Bowl, it felt quiet like an out‑of‑town spot, breakfast was great and parking was free, and the bed was comfortable. However, the room seemed a bit worn, the carpet could have been cleaner and had stains, the bedding was clean and it was clear the room had been tidied, but overall it felt a bit tired and had a damp or stale smoke smell.
“Good value for money”
It was great to be able to use the Nuffield gym and swimming pool. The staff were friendly. It would be great if breakfast continued till 10.30 and check out at 11 on a Sunday morning
“Comfortable but a bit noisy for us”
The location was good and the lady staff in the morning was lovely, but the room was noisy at night, the evening staff barely spoke to us when we checked in, gave us the key and some vague directions, and we couldn’t find the room.
The facilities and room were good, but the location was a drawback.
