The hotel's location is spot‑on, right where you want to be, but the service left a lot to be desired. The receptionist and the cook both seemed pretty reluctant to help, which made the stay feel a bit cold. Still, you can't complain about where it sits.

This lodge sits right on the edge of Lago del Desierto, making it an ideal place to unwind after a day of hiking. From here you can easily set out on treks to Glaciar Huemul and Vespignani, and the views are just stunning. A solid base for anyone looking to explore the area.

The food itself was decent, but the whole operation felt stretched thin. With only one person juggling guest service, cooking, and cleaning, breakfast suffered—stale bread, lukewarm coffee and milk. It’s clear the kitchen needs more hands.

The inn is tucked away in a dream‑like setting, right at the trailhead to Glaciar Huemul. Staff were genuinely friendly, and the breakfast went beyond what I expected. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone heading this way.
