Liz welcomed us at reception, and we snagged the last available courtyard room at the last minute. The room had no view but was fine; a quick refresh and a couple of comfy chairs instead of a full-size dining table would help. The restaurant and food were top‑class, and every staff member was excellent. The only issue was the room, but it was the only option left.

We dined at the restaurant and absolutely loved it, and a walk around the area was very pleasant; breakfast was also really good, but the room wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived, so we had to ask the staff to tidy it up.

The premises and surroundings are beautiful, the breakfast and dinner food is lovely, and the facilities are elegant; the room was 100% clean, very large and spacious, and the layout was perfect, plus there was plenty of parking.
