The place was spotless, the kids’ facilities were great and the hotel felt luxurious, but the restaurants left much to be desired and the hotel was unfortunately far from everything, making transfers expensive because of the distance.
From the moment we were greeted everything was flawless, thanks to the whole staff; the rooms were roomy and well‑equipped, the pools and activities were excellent, and the beachfront restaurant was family‑friendly and really tasty.

Everything was special—a relaxing resort far from noise where you can enjoy two or three days on a pristine, amazing beach, a fully‑fledged family‑friendly resort—but it was far from the services and the venues for events and activities.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful, very quiet, and perfect for those who love peace and comfort, and the staff are also helpful; it’s about a 20‑minute drive from the airport. Thanks also to reception staff Sita Jessie, who was extremely cooperative. The hotel is far from Pantai Botang—about an hour away—and the transfer cost from the hotel to Pantai Botang is roughly 1000 THB, plus you can’t swim at the beach because of strong waves and deep water.
We loved loved our stay at Le meridien. The resort gives upmarket vibes, with lovely rooms and facilities, but not too pristine for you to feel off being there with kids. We found the pool setup very comfortable with the children, they had slides but we could still enjoy the beach view and serene gardens. The bar was great with quality cocktails. Service was great, extra special thanks to Summer and Birdy, who were just lovely and went above and beyond to help us out with an issue attaining a car seat for our toddler. Breakfasts were fresh, quality and smoke options for any palate. We also loved the access to the beach front local restaurants just next door. The hotel is on a lovely quiet little remote spot, lush surroundings and beautiful beachfront, you would need a car to get around or taxis, nothing except the 2 local restaurants next door with walking distance. But that was all we needed! We did have a car and went to the local “busy” are about 6 minute drive for more eateries and massages. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! But for those looking for hustle bustle and night life I suggest doing a little research on the location first…. The poolside food is pretty pricey especially considering portions but that’s the norm at this caliber of resort I guess
