“Nice stay!”
A quaint place in a pretty good spot if you’re heading to the Safari in Udawalawe. The surrounding nature is lovely, and overall it was a good stay with an amazing breakfast.
It was peaceful and the pool was great.
We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Vimanra Hotel in Udawalawe. It's a real hidden gem with such a welcoming and friendly host who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, with a delicious selection of traditional Sri Lankan specialities, plenty of fresh tropical fruit, and something for everyone each morning. We also had dinner at the hotel, and it was honestly the best traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry we've had during our trip – full of flavour and freshly prepared. The pool was lovely and warm, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Our kids' favourite part of the stay was Jet, the adorable dog, who kept everyone entertained by chasing away the huge lizards around the garden! Everything about our stay was memorable, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vimanra Hotel to anyone visiting Udawalawe. We hope to return one day!. Everything was perfect

This hotel is nothing short of amazing. The garden is stunning, surrounded by nature, wildlife, and beautiful plants. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the owner and staff made us feel at home. The pool is large and welcoming, and the food is delicious—especially the best curry we’ve had in Sri Lanka—and the breakfast is great. The owner helped us with everything we needed. Nothing to add.

The hotel is very beautiful and clean. The staff is attentive and the food is very fine. The only drawback: the massages are offered outdoors, without any visual separation. Otherwise they were great and pleasant.
