The location was ideal for walking to the Saturday farmers market and the bagel shop next door, the room was spotless and the lobby spacious. However, it felt overpriced for what it offered—no breakfast was included, and there wasn’t even a water bottle in the room for $200 a night. The check‑in was friendly, but the manager didn’t greet us or say anything at the end of our stay. The lobby layout with an open bar can become confusing when a loud, intoxicated crowd takes over.

“Convenient location in the downtown area. Very comfortable and clean room.”

I appreciated the proximity to downtown and the ability to walk everywhere. I didn’t expect to be woken by a train, but that’s probably common wherever you stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My only issue was the TV—it kept scrambling and offered very few channels.

“The price you pay is well above what you get.”

The main lobby was nicely decorated. The breakfast was pricey, and the TV in our room didn’t work; maintenance tried resetting it but failed, leaving our family without entertainment. The pool was clean, but some guests dumped cashews onto the deck and into the water, so we literally stepped in cashews—there were a lot. Staff refilled towels but didn’t clean up the mess. The beds were lumpy and stiff, causing backaches for both my husband and me. We’ve stayed at many hotels worldwide, and the price we paid didn’t match what we received. We won’t return.
