The price was good, but someone had broken into a room that only had one lock, so I stayed on edge all night.

The staff were super nice, but the room smelled awful, had film everywhere, and even though it was a non‑smoking room it reeked of cigarettes. The location felt sketchy and unsafe, so we checked out immediately—waste of money.

The room was spacious, clean, and fairly updated with comfortable beds and a working air conditioner. It was a 30‑minute drive to Carlsbad Caverns. I thought the price was a bit high for a single night. The coffee pot was disgusting—there was still liquid in the reservoir and mold floating on top, so we didn’t make coffee. The room had very few outlets; only one between the two beds.

It was nice for the cost, and I liked it.

The motel was clean and had the usual amenities, but the pool was not very clean and there was no breakfast offered. I rated it 8.0/10.
