The hotel had a spacious lounge with a table and chairs, the bare minimum of cutlery, crockery and glasses, and it was clean, but the bed was low and uncomfortable, the pillows were like rocks, one dining chair was wobbly so we avoided it for fear of breaking it, the entire block was very old, and the worst part was the lack of soundproofing between the ceiling and the floor above—elephant‑like sounds came from above us.

The room was a great size, very big, but the ceiling was timber and the noise from the room above kept waking us up, with stomping on the floors above.

The location was spot on, and the room was clean, but that's where the positives end. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable - I basically didn't sleep at all. To make matters worse, we could hear the people above us chatting and walking around till 10 pm, and we left feeling exhausted the next morning.

This place has a great location and my room was set up nicely, with plenty of space to move around. However, the noise was a real issue - I could hear everything going on in the rooms above and next to me, which made it tough to relax.

The room size was awesome, but that's about where it ends. I had a rough night's sleep because the people above me were loud and running around all night - my room was even shaking a bit from their footsteps.
