There Remington is very central to most places and easy accessible. The rooms are comfortable and kept clean by staff on request, and the staff are friendly. There could be provision made for an in‑house coffee shop, especially if you want to grab something quickly without going out. An option for breakfast may be good, especially because places mostly only open up at 10am.

The room was roomy and the staff, especially at reception, were great; it was clean and parking around the hotel was free and close to the town centre. The only issue was the sluggish internet and the limited TV selection – only Astro AXN was available, and the same movies kept looping, making the streaming experience choppy.

“My first stay with Remington Hotel”

When I stayed at Remington Hotel, I remembered it used to be Pelangi Hotel, a few years back when it looked run‑down and gloomy. After the renovation and new management, the place is now cleaner, more comfortable, and overall a lot better. The only drawback was the absence of a mini‑fridge in my room, so I couldn’t keep drinks or fruit chilled and had to buy small juices from the supermarket every day, which was quite inconvenient. I’d suggest the hotel install mini‑fridges – Chinese models are inexpensive – and replace the worn‑out bath towels, and maybe add hand towels as well. I’d love to have a mini‑fridge on my next stay.

The room was large, but there was no body wash or lotion, which is a problem for travelers who need to pack light.

“Pleasant stay”

Check‑in and check‑out were straightforward, and parking was free. The only downside was that the bathroom didn’t have spare toilet paper on hand.
