Addo Park Suma's Rest

The spot was nice and close to Addo. The facilities were good and the shower was clean and pleasant. However, even though the place was new and modern, it lacked atmosphere and the room was too small to fit a suitcase. We could hear our neighbors talking clearly, which was disappointing. The road to the property is a dirt road; when dry it’s bumpy and sandy, and after a rain shower our SUV lost traction and kept sliding.

The location was great, check‑in was easy, the place was very clean and quiet, and the property felt very safe. The communal areas were well equipped, but sometimes they can get a bit noisy, especially when someone cooks at night.

“A wow factor guesthouse which would be perfect if access was better.”

I wish I could stay in a house like this forever! The pool and social area are gorgeous, tastefully decorated, and have a lovely vibe. Our room had a big, comfy bed, a small kitchenette, and a private balcony. We also used the larger shared kitchen, which was fully equipped with an oven, air fryer, and dishwasher. The bath and pool towels were high quality. Overall, it felt very comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The property is close to Addo Park, which is convenient, and there’s a large parking lot. The only downside was the lack of shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer, so bring your own. Also, the access to the property can be tricky: there are two routes, both involving an untarred road that can become muddy and hard to drive after rain, so contact the host for clear directions before heading out, especially if it’s been raining heavily.
