I had a lovely breakfast on my own. The outdoor space on street level was a bit small, but the balcony was great, so it wasn’t really a problem.

The room we were offered was far below our expectations and the AC didn’t work. The host offered to change our room and we ended up with a very good one on the top floor, which we were very happy with. The AC in the old room was the only issue.

The location is convenient: a comfortable 15‑minute walk to the metro station, and having large supermarkets like Carrefour and Migros right at the station is a huge plus for grabbing groceries. The downside is that you have to walk uphill. I arrived late but the management was very accommodating and organized a smooth self‑check‑in process for me. The administration was incredibly responsive and did their absolute best to assist with any requests. It was great to have free coffee and tea available in the kitchen, and the price was reasonable for the service provided. The biggest issue was poor soundproofing – the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors as if they’re in the same room. If you have neighbors who stay up late, getting a good night’s sleep becomes a real challenge. The bathroom door didn’t close completely, which is uncomfortable when sharing a room, and the shower is worn out; water leaks from all outlets (overhead, hand shower, and tap) simultaneously regardless of the setting, leading to very low water pressure in the main shower head. There was a constant, unpleasant sewage smell coming from the bathroom; it wasn’t overwhelming, but it was definitely noticeable.

Everything was liked. There was nothing negative.

There’s a shared kitchen and a terrace, and the only real perk is how close it is to the consulate – probably why people book here. The insulation is awful and the nighttime noise is brutal; the hallway door is so flimsy I could hear people as if they were standing next to me. The bathroom has no door at all, and the plastic sliding door is broken. There isn’t even a towel rack in the bathroom.
