I left because the mattress was soaked through, and at 4AM someone tried to open our door, waking me up. The floors were so dirty my feet turned black, and I slipped the key cards through the bullet‑proof glass in the lobby and left as fast as possible.

It was close to the University of Dayton, and the woman at the desk was very, very nice and personable, yet the sheets were dirty and stained, the ceiling was buckling, the bathroom was decaying, and I spotted at least two cockroaches during the hour or so I was awake in the room. Plus, multiple people outside were screaming loudly at each other between 3 and 4 in the morning.
