The location was perfect, but breakfast was very expensive for eggs. The bathrooms were very impractical, and whoever did the construction should be fired.

Oswald, the Bell Hop. When a hotel calls itself LUXURY, I expect certain standards: high cleanliness, good linens, fully working room facilities, well‑maintained decor, and adequate staffing with good service. Instead, our first room/suite had several faulty lights and one shower with no hot water. We arrived at 10 pm after a 22‑hour trip and, after reporting the issues, were ready for a good night’s sleep. At 5 am we were woken by cockroaches crawling over our faces. An urgent call to reception got us a room change, but we had to empty all our belongings to make sure we weren’t taking any critters with us. The whole thing was extremely upsetting. We were told the Executive Manager would speak with us the next day. In our replacement room we again had a faulty light, a missing bathrobe, and dated, scrimpy towels, which we reported before leaving for the day. When we returned, our room hadn’t been serviced and the faulty light still wasn’t fixed. The towels never improved. Neither shower worked fully, and electrical sockets frequently tripped out, affecting some lights. The décor was worn and poorly maintained. Even after the room had been serviced, we found empty beer bottles (not ours!) under a chair. We were sent a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine (I don’t actually drink!), but never heard from the Executive Manager.

The staff were incredibly friendly, but I couldn't order room service after waking up late because the service hours were limited.

The location was great, but I had to pay $65 for parking at a place where I had already paid for accommodation.
