The place is wonderful in the Tuscan hills, with a lovely garden, a friendly atmosphere and helpful hosts. Breakfasts can be purchased (coffee, homemade bread, jams, ricotta and cheese). The cottage is charming, rural‑style and very clean. However, a few things were missing for a perfect stay: there was no washing machine, even though it was listed as an amenity (I specifically chose that option to wash a small amount of clothes we brought). There was no kettle or dishes in the room, so we couldn’t brew coffee or tea in the morning or evening. The hosts’ kitchen was only available on request, which felt restrictive and didn’t give us independence. The room was poorly ventilated, causing a stale smell at night, and even the fan didn’t help at 23 °C.

The view over the valley is beautiful; the garden is great for relaxing; the hosts are super friendly and give good local tips; Bruno and Esperanza prepare a tasty breakfast that you can enjoy in their garden after arranging it.

The accommodation has a fantastic garden and is surrounded by greenery. The shared spaces were also very nice. The hosts were very helpful. The room was small and needed a bit more cleaning work; the floor wasn’t very clean and had a lot of dust. It could provide shampoo and conditioner, since nothing nearby was available. The road to the property was dirt and had many potholes, making it difficult for someone with a low‑profile car. But that isn’t the hosts’ fault.

The wilderness, the silence and the proximity to Siena were all perfect. The only downside was the dusty last‑mile road.
