Breakfast over three days was tasty, and coffee and tea were free around the clock. In the stylish bathroom, we wasted a lot of water with the rain shower because the temperature was hard to adjust and a lot of water splashed onto the bathtub.

From the moment I arrived, the staff’s hospitality was astonishing, with every tour detail thoughtfully arranged and linked for a hassle‑free exploration of the area. Breakfast opened at 08:00 am and was superb. Walking to the main sightseeing spots took 15‑20 minutes. The CTM bus from Chefchaoen to Fez was surprisingly interesting (bring motion‑sickness medicine and a disposal bag if you’re sensitive). A taxi from the terminal to the hotel was 15 minutes and cost 30 dirhams. Huge thanks to Free People Riad and Spa for their generous time and consideration!

This riad is stunningly beautiful, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, with staff who are incredibly welcoming and caring, making the visit even more pleasant; breakfast varied daily at our request, providing a delightful surprise each morning, the bed was hugely comfortable and spacious for a restorative night’s sleep, the bathroom was equally impressive—large, functional, and equipped with a big bathtub—and every evening our room was meticulously tidied, showing real attention to detail, while the air‑conditioning proved a real comfort booster.
