The food was good, but the renovation noise from the top floor, which was right next to our room, was annoying.

The room was a great size, the location was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The lifts were non‑functional, which made getting food and drinks a hassle. We had to wait over an hour for a sandwich, there was no information on allergens, and we had to send drinks back three times because the staff kept getting the order wrong (we ordered 2 soft drinks, 1 Malibu, 1 lemonade, and 1 cider, not a complicated request).

Enjoyed the stay, room was a good size, good facilities and extreamly good location. Lift was broken and multiple times during the stay certain stairs were cornwred off making it hard to get around. Unexperienced staff- both days at breakfast they said we hadnt booked in and had to show booking as proof. Evening meal took almost an hour to deliver 1 pizza. And bar staff needed showing very basic drinks such as asking " is red wine the red or clear liquid" we also had to explain how to measure a mixer as staff originally tried to give us a full glass of spirits with a bottle of pop on the side

We received an email two hours before arrival saying the reservation was cancelled because of refurbishment.
