The staff were friendly and handled the Bastimentos park excursion well. There were very few services in the town – just breakfast and dinner, and it was a bit quiet. The town itself was authentic but a bit dirty.

The staff were incredible—always friendly, attentive, and professional, all women, which made the service feel very warm and welcoming. The facilities were fairly clean and the value for money was unbeatable. The location was great, perfect for getting around and exploring the area comfortably. Another big plus was the fully equipped shared kitchen with a fridge, very handy for cooking and storing food. They also offered laundry service at a very reasonable price, a detail that’s especially appreciated on longer stays. Finally, we loved the relaxed, authentically Caribbean vibe, ideal for disconnecting and enjoying the stay. The only downside was the irregular steps on the entrance from the village, which become slippery when it rains heavily.

The staff were amazing, always ready with information, tours, and water taxi arrangements. The room was spotless with good air conditioning, and the kitchen was well equipped and functional. The outdoor area was relaxing, perfect for spending time and watching sunsets. The locals on Bastimentos Island were friendly and welcoming. Arriving Saturday evening, the neighbor played loud music until 1‑2 am, and Sunday night the music stayed loud until 11 pm, but weekdays were quiet and good.
