The reception and kindness, the size and rusticity of the house, and the beauty of the place all stood out.
“Ideale per una breve vacanza tra amici e per chi vuole “staccare la spina” qualche giorno”
We were very happy with the stay at this beautiful agriturismo, ideal for groups, families, and children. The lady was welcoming and always available, making us feel at home immediately. The agriturismo is set in nature, perfect for those seeking an authentic rural experience. Cleanliness was excellent in all areas; a few occasional insects didn’t detract from the care and attention to guests. In winter the house is well‑heated and comfortable, well‑equipped, with functional spaces, a barbecue, and a wood‑fired oven—great for cooking together and making pizza while sharing convivial moments in nature.
“Andate da qualche altra parte”
The place was filthy, with only one towel for everyone over three days, and it was old and worn; there was a single hand soap for all guests, no TV, and no phone charging station.
“Una meraviglia!”
We stayed at Casa della Barcareccia from 1st to 3rd May with nine people and our small dog, and we felt welcomed right away. The property is set in nature, making it ideal for a real break from routine with peace and tranquility. The silence, colors, and scents of the landscape made the stay even more special. The house is spacious, well‑kept, and fully equipped: a kitchen with everything needed, a fireplace that creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, a wood‑fired oven, and an outdoor barbecue perfect for convivial moments. We also loved the outdoor table where we spent beautiful evenings under the sky. A detail that impressed us was discovering that the property once hosted a riding school; exploring the surroundings let us admire splendid horses and enjoy a truly postcard‑like view. During our stay we also visited the beautiful Cinque Terre, starting from the Levanto station, moving from Monterosso to Riomaggiore—a memorable experience made even better by the lovely weather. A special thanks to Mrs. Elisa, the owner, for her kindness, availability, and impeccable hospitality. She was always present and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. We highly recommend Casa della Barcareccia to anyone who wants a relaxing stay immersed in nature yet with all the comforts of home. It’s a place that stays in the heart and we hope to return soon. 💚
