The beds were reasonably comfortable and the staff were friendly, but the walls, doors, sinks and tables looked old and dirty, and our window shutter was taped because it was broken.

Check‑in was quick, the reception couple were very kind, and the housekeeping staff were excellent, yet some items didn’t work: the hair dryer and the coffee maker.

I stayed at the Gateway in Gardena with my son and we were disappointed by everything we saw there; the rooms were basic, the place felt dreadful, there was no room service and it was far too expensive for what we got, truly regrettable. I will never stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I even suspect the hotel might be a hangout for prostitutes because there were many strange women and intimate encounters on display, which was awful for me and my family. Honestly, this property shouldn’t even be listed on the site – it was the worst hotel I’ve ever paid a high price for, simply terrible.

It had roaches so I left at 330 in the morning they was crawling everywhere I told the person at night and he gave me a card and said call in the morning
