“Einfach gut”
The hotel was a bit outside Meiningen, which made it very quiet. Breakfast was great, the whole team was nice and friendly, and the dinner was also tasty. There was nothing negative.

The service was superb, the cuisine top‑class, the new rooms exceeded all expectations—nothing could be better, and there was nothing to criticize.

Everything was excellent, but the breakfast could be healthier with less sausage.

The hosts were very nice, the breakfast served at the table was great, and the dinner kitchen was truly excellent; the rooms were fairly new, though the bathroom was a bit small but clean and tidy, and the dining room offered a fantastic view over the Rhön.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, and from the breakfast room you get a beautiful view of the landscape; our room was small with a tiny balcony, but otherwise fine. Occasionally a bad smell lingered in the bathroom (rotten eggs, sewage). Breakfast was table‑served and less extensive than what we’re used to at hotels with a buffet, offering limited fruit yogurt, no breakfast cereals, and no sweet rolls, though the quality was good.
