The Blue Boar, a historic coaching inn on Witney’s market square, blends heritage with modern comfort. Rooms feature TVs, hairdryers, free Wi‑Fi, tea/coffee makers, and private baths. The on‑site restaurant offers international dishes, a children’s menu, daily cooked breakfasts, and a cozy coffee shop. Located near Oxford, Blenheim Palace, and twice‑weekly markets.

Enjoyed the outdoor setting on a mild morning with a fine selection of menu items, and there were no problems.

The Blue Boar has just been refurbished and I think the decor was redesigned; everything is excellent, creative, and stylish. We stayed the day after the reopening, loved the bedroom, and the bed was very comfortable.

The pub and restaurant were freshly redecorated and pleasant, with excellent service and a great vibe overall. The food was tasty and the drinks were delicious. The rooms were spacious and seemed newly renovated too, with large and good bathrooms. All in all, a very good experience that I would highly recommend.
