“Fine, nice location, missing a bit of extra care to make this better.”

The room is nice, spacious, and well built. The location is close to the public beach, with many resorts and restaurants nearby. The owner was friendly. However, there was no AC on the top floor, it was too hot to sleep at 35 °C, so we slept downstairs. There were no towels or bedsheets, and we didn’t bother to ask.

There were frogs, cockroaches, ants, it smelled awful, the water didn’t work, neither did the chain or the outlets, the bed was a stone and it was scorching hot, so I couldn’t sleep. On top of that, the owner was a nuisance, extremely intrusive, wanted to know everything, didn’t help when problems arose, and acted like a long‑term resident.

I appreciated the cabana’s location and surroundings because it’s calm and not crowded. However, there were numerous problems: 1. The rooms were fine, but the bathroom wasn’t clean and the water pressure was weak. 2. The listing said air conditioning was included, yet the AC was unplugged and the remote was missing. 3. They claimed they provide bed tea, but they charged an extra 1000 LKR for it, which isn’t worth it. 4. The room cost 6,245.60 LKR for one night, yet we were overcharged to 6,900 LKR—a small amount, but still wrong. 5. Most importantly, even drinking water wasn’t available.

Never recommend anyone. The toilets are unclear, bad, and small at all times. Snakes roam around the property, there isn’t enough water in the washroom, you can’t stay in the room, and there’s no ventilation in the rooms.
