“Hyggeligt ophold ude på landet”
A cozy bed and breakfast in the Asti area: out on the countryside, where the loudest sounds are a couple of tractors and the neighbor’s dogs. It was lovely to sit on the terrace with a drink and feel the silence settle. Lots of mosquitoes, but the host had provided mosquito repellent, coils, etc., so I didn’t find it a problem. Sweet, friendly, and discreet hosts who serve a nice breakfast when you want it. The apartment is on the first floor above the host family’s own apartment, but we couldn’t hear them at all. Fewer mosquitoes – but that’s probably a summer condition in Italy! The neighbor has two dogs, at least one of which is out at night – it barked quite a bit.
