First, I really liked the old‑school vibe of the room, the view was nice, and the breakfast turned out surprisingly good for an included meal; the hostel’s location gave me a calm feeling. On the downside, there seemed to be a lack of atmosphere and it was hard to meet other travelers, and sometimes the hotel organized activities that had no participants, though that isn’t the hotel’s fault.

The hotel was elegant and close to the city center.

The view from the window was amazing – we could see horses and chickens roaming outside, and the little terrace was a pleasant surprise. The decor in the room and common areas was charming, and breakfast was delicious. But the price felt steep, the bed was too firm, the bathroom had a pipe smell, and the rooster crowing in the mornings kept us up. Also, using a credit card added a 3% fee.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location itself was fine, but it didn't quite match my personal preferences.
