I’ve stayed here countless times; it’s the best value in São Paulo for me. The hotel is simple but has everything I need. Great location and a good area.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean; the shower was clean; the place was quiet; the Wi‑Fi was good; the bedding was new, including the two blankets. The bathroom had no light; the mini‑fridge wasn’t working, which I hadn’t expected.

The host was extremely polite, kind, and attentive. I barely used the metro, but it’s close, and even by Uber the location is excellent for city sightseeing. There are several bakeries around and the neighborhood is peaceful.

The price is very attractive and the accommodations were clean and well acclimated. Unfortunately, my experience with reception was not great. After booking, I used the chat provided by Booking to clarify some questions. The responses were quick, but when I arrived the explanations were incomplete. The listing implied there was heating via a heater, yet the receptionist said that if we felt cold we could just close the window or adjust the air‑conditioner—quite different from what the ad suggested. I also asked beforehand if we could leave our luggage at reception after checkout, since my group and I planned to explore the city. The answer was yes, but when we tried to drop them off we were told there was no security guarantee because they would be in a corner near the second‑floor stairs. If we wanted 100 % assurance that no one touched them, we’d have to pay half a night to keep them in the room. While they didn’t technically lie, the chat communication left the situation unclear. To make matters worse, the receptionist claimed she wasn’t the one who answered my chat questions, which doesn’t make sense because she recognized me upon arrival because of one of the queries I had made. We only learned of the limitations once we were on site, which was frustrating and left a bad feeling. I can’t say if it was intentional, but the communication failure ruined the experience.
