Being close to the stadium was a big plus, especially after concerts when the crowd was thick and I could just walk back to my room to relax. However, the hygiene left a lot to be desired; the toilet and shower area looked awful. Other capsule hotels offered better prices and nicer looks, but I chose this one because of its proximity to the stadium. The room itself was fine for sleeping, but the price was too high for a longer stay and not worth it. I kept seeing mostly men in the lobby instead of women, which I didn’t understand 😅 Overall, it was okay for a quick nap, but the stairs were bad and I almost fell on the upper floor.

It’s a decent spot for travelers heading to the Singapore Indoor Stadium, just a place to catch some sleep. The downside is its proximity to the stadium.

The place is just a minute or two’s walk from the EW line Kellang metro station, which is super convenient, and the owner is friendly. There’s no age limit for guests, but there’s no 24‑hour front desk, so a late arrival means you’ll have to check yourself in. It’s cheap, though you can’t judge it by hotel standards – the bathroom isn’t split into wet and dry zones, the dorms have bunk beds, etc., so think of it more like a regular rental. The toilet isn’t as filthy as you might imagine; it’s actually clean, just a bit small, and each floor has about five or six toilets (including showers). In the dorm there’s a lockable metal locker, but it’s still wise to keep valuables on you; suitcases are simply zipped and left by the bed, and each bunk has a blackout curtain, power outlet, hanger, towel and nightstand, so you’re not disturbed when the curtain is drawn. Occasionally someone will be fiddling with zippers or snoring, so bring your own toiletries, eye mask and earplugs. Most guests are Chinese, with backpackers, students and tourists mixed in, and everyone generally respects the dorm order, rarely interacting. If you’re a light sleeper or used to hotels you might want to skip it – I was nervous at first but got used to it after one night.

The stay was normal for the price in Singapore. Privacy was good, and there was coffee and a kettle available. The sheets were clean. The gentleman at reception was very polite, and he also cleaned outside. Check‑in and check‑out were easy. The main issue was the surroundings rather than the hostel itself. There were cockroaches near the restaurants, which is surprising given Singapore’s reputation for cleanliness; the nearby eateries were surprisingly dirty.
