I couldn’t sleep because of the ticks, but the food was tasty. The area is almost deserted of tourists; instead, workers and refugees live there. The facilities are in bad shape and filthy, and a single staff member handles all management.

The price and location were decent, but the hostel was very dirty, especially the kitchen: the stove and countertop were unwashed, and there were many unwashed dishes. It was loud, and one room actually served as a passage to a balcony where everyone smoked. About 30+ people stayed at once, with only one toilet (the second was broken) and two showers. The bathroom was also dirty and looked rarely cleaned. I would never return to such a hostel again.

“Nice community, in calm area”

The hostel staff were very friendly and ready to answer any questions, which I appreciated. The price was extremely low—no other bed in the world is cheaper—so tourists can save money for other things. The kitchen was good, and I met many kind and interested people, making the stay pleasant. The shower was good, the balcony nice, the bed comfortable, and entry was easy. The place isn’t very clean, but the staff cleans daily, so the mess likely comes from many people (maybe 20?) using three toilets and one kitchen.

“The best people make the best moments”

Sara was amazing—caring, helpful, and thoughtful. She gave great visiting tips, spoke bilingual English, and was flexible with my early arrival and checkout times. Her smile made the rest of the stay better.
