I highly recommend this place to stay. We were enveloped by a warm and family‑like atmosphere. Once you cross the famous yellow gate, the magic happens as time literally stops. Finding the splendor and richness of Tunisia through the exceptional preservation of the historic tiles, chandeliers, photos, bathroom, and antiques brought me straight back to childhood. It was a wonderful surprise. A big thank you to the team for their exemplary discretion, and especially to the owners who preserve this family heritage with such care and respect.

The staff were absolutely lovely and very attentive. They gave us tips on where to eat and spend the day. The house is beautiful, and the facilities are very comfortable. If you need anything, just ask and they take care of it with a smile.

The estate itself is stunningly beautiful, with a staff that’s friendly and welcoming, eager to make sure guests enjoy everything. Inside the house, there’s a lot of antique furniture that makes it feel like a museum—very authentic. Breakfast is excellent, the pool is clean, and the rooms are tidy with good towels, toiletries, and nice slippers; there are no bathrobes. The bed is comfortable, like a cloud, and the view of the city from the roof and private pool is breathtaking. Nearby, there are cafés, supermarkets, and hookah lounges. On the downside, the penthouse price feels too high, the photos are outdated, and currently there are no lounge chairs by the rooftop mini‑pool. Things are no longer as new. The beach is a 15‑minute walk away; it isn’t the cleanest—there are stones and pebbles—but you can still swim.
