A stunning property set in a large wooded and flowered garden, the bungalow with its little terrace is beautifully arranged and thoughtfully designed, and the cleanliness is absolutely impeccable. The pool, the quietness, and the warm welcome from the owner make it a real delight.

The accommodation is peaceful, close to the Circuit du Castellet yet far enough to avoid the traffic noise. It was a good experience and a place I’ll keep in mind for future trips in the area, with a friendly welcome. Nothing to add.

The bed was comfortable and the environment quiet, with a street that has a lovely name and surroundings that include the Parc Naturel Régional de la Sainte-Baume. I couldn’t enjoy the breakfast that others praised because the host was away, and traveling in winter meant I missed the pool. The “room” is a converted shed on the grounds of a modern villa in the northern outskirts of La Cadière, about 4 km from the town centre, and the place has no kitchen. I arrived on foot after a long day of hiking without a camping kitchen, so walking another 4 km each way to find a restaurant was impractical; I was lucky that a pizza delivery would deliver even though a solo order didn’t meet the minimum. Cleanliness was not great, with some dirt on the mattress—surprising but not a major issue. It feels a bit pricey compared to other properties in the area, especially since there’s no kitchen and restaurants are not within walking distance; comparable places in Le Revest, Rocbaron or Collobrières were 30 %–50 % cheaper.
