The shed itself is very basic, with laser‑light walls and no insulation, and the sliding door never sealed properly, so it was freezing at night. Even with the single small split system running all night, the temperature stayed around 10 °C inside.

I loved the room; the beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were top quality (a nice bonus). They left a full carton of milk for us, and answered any questions quickly. The location was great. Thanks!

The gardens were gorgeous, and Ruth was warm and helpful. Breakfast was served with evident pride. I’ll come back. The sliding door was a bit stiff and some structural work was needed, but neither bothered us.

It was very comfortable and quiet—rustic yet delightfully situated, clean, and fully stocked with amenities and provisions. Hearing the kookaburras in the morning was beautiful. It would be amazing to stay in warmer weather, sit on the patio, and enjoy the view of the Australian bush. The Wi‑Fi that was advertised was missing, and the sliding door doesn’t lock; you have to be careful when closing it because it can jam your fingers, whereas the wire door does. These two issues weren’t a major problem and were easily worked around.

The cottage offered plenty of privacy and beautiful surroundings. We did have several bull ants crawling across the floor the whole time, which was a bit concerning since my baby was crawling on the ground so much!
