Not far from the subway, the area is also good, wi‑fi is nice, and the pool downstairs was the best part of this hostel. There was no AC, only a very noisy fan, no window, the room was super small and not well cleaned (dust on the shelves). The locker was not safe – it broke on the second day, so a random guy told us a master‑pass for all the rooms, meaning some people (not staff) knew the code from your room. Also no locker, we had to take all the documents and money with us. The dishes in the kitchen were dirty. There were restoration works there – you had to go through the 16‑beds room to reach yours (they didn’t even mention it on booking). Not enough bathrooms.

The staff made our stay. Emilio, Syd, and CJ were so wonderful to us. They showed us around the neighborhood, recommended attractions, always made sure we were comfortable, and had plenty of things to do. The construction was loud, but that’s out of their control. There was a large flood a few weeks before we arrived. That being said, I’m excited to come back next year to see the place after all the renovations have been completed!

The service was very practical and the price was quite good, but parking near the hotel is tough during certain hours.

The location is great, just a short walk from a subway station and I felt safe; they gave clear instructions for self‑check‑in. The private room looked a bit dated and was in a section with only two other rooms, so the shared bathroom was small but not a problem. The layout feels all over the place and you have to climb a steep staircase.
