The view from the rooms is stunning – you can see the whole city spread out below. The staff were friendly and the hotel feels pretty upscale overall. The downside is that it’s tucked away from any bus stops or shops, so getting to the centre takes a taxi. Our room was also chilly because the central heating was off, and the little electric heater they sent over was annoyingly loud.

A solid business hotel with a hearty breakfast, a decent pool, and a roomy layout that offers a nice river‑city panorama. The only gripe is that it sits a little outside the main downtown area.

Staff were consistently helpful and seemed to anticipate what we needed. The only hassle was the vending machines – there were no English instructions for switching from WeChat to Alipay, so we spent a while figuring it out.

Location-wise, it’s a bit isolated – there’s nothing to walk to nearby, though taxis and Didi are quick and reasonably priced.
