“Cumplidor con gran vista”

The best parts were the views and the pool, which had the right temperature to stay outside even in the cold. The staff were very friendly. It’s a three‑star hotel, no frills, but very compliant. Towels were provided for the pool. The price‑quality ratio is excellent. It could use a renovation – it looks like nothing has changed since the ’90s – but everything still works and is in good condition. Breakfast is very basic and a bit bland. The fruit salad looks like it’s from the previous day, and the fruit is mostly canned. The restaurant has a great view, but the food isn’t very tasty, though it wasn’t terrible since we ate all our evening meals there.

“Es lindo y staff amable pero no se si vale realmente la pena”

The lake view, close bus stop, and easy Uber access were great, and the staff were super friendly; the hotel looked nice with charming details and the bed was comfortable and good for my back. However, everything kept falling: the bathroom curtain fell, the curtain support in the room fell, and the shower key fell; the heating was so high we had to open the window to sleep; the common areas—sauna, pool, and Turkish bath—were quite small, so when a family behaved badly, kids shouted loudly and chaos ensued, preventing us from enjoying them; the pool was very very cold, so the temperature settings for heating and the pool should be swapped; and the pillows were very bad.

“Todos los días un problema distinto.”

The hotel’s views are beautiful, and the food at the restaurant for both lunch and dinner was delicious. We booked two rooms; one was fine, but the second, room 12, had a lot of issues with heating, hot water, room comfort, and the staff’s willingness to fix problems. They gave us a room that, with the city’s temperatures below zero, didn’t have sustained hot water during our stay. There were also major heating problems: the hallway was very hot while the room was cold. When we complained, the responses were “try the air” or “it sometimes collapses if everyone uses it at once, you have to wait.” The second night the heating didn’t work either, so nothing warmed the room. The hand‑washing basin lost a lot of water, and they offered to fix it the next day, which should have been addressed before guests arrived. The shower curtain was broken and the bathtub had mold. In short: below‑zero temperatures in Bariloche + no heating + no hot water.

The spot couldn't be better – right in the middle of everything you need – but the nightly rate was higher than I expected for the basics offered.
