Close to Falcon Heights and St. Paul relatives, breakfast was good, the pool was fun for the kids—though only 4 ft deep—and the elevator was tucked away in an odd spot.

Breakfast was good with lots of choices, though it felt the same each day; the room’s air conditioning worked for an hour or two before the temperature rose at night, and all drains were clogged and drained very slowly.

The area was nice and quiet yet close enough to the city that driving wasn’t necessary; the rooms had strong AC and blackout curtains for restful sleep, but our room wasn’t ready until about 30–40 minutes after check‑in, the front desk seemed unprofessional and inattentive while on a personal phone call, and our shower drain was slow.
