“Unimpressed with the response to an issue.”
The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom basin was blocked and unusable; I arrived late the first night and managed, then called the number on the notice board the next morning to report it, but the message didn’t reach them; that night I tried messaging, received a reply saying nothing could be done until morning, and was told the cleaner would plunge it—if that was all it took, someone should have fixed it that night; having no working sink for most of three days is unacceptable.

Ocean Inn met our needs adequately; the room and private bathroom were clean and comfortable, offering great value for money; we walked to the city centre in about 20 minutes and stopped at a nearby café for breakfast, and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located near several bus stops, but the room feels quite cramped with barely enough flat surface to set up a desk or other items.
The location was great and the environment was pleasant.
