This hotel was truly great, with very accommodating staff and consistently tasty breakfast included. The laundry machines and microwave available were very handy, and the free coffee was a nice touch. The location was also excellent—neither too remote nor too noisy, though be careful of the fire station across the street. Also note that if you don’t speak any Japanese, the staff only speak a little English. The breakfast ended a bit early and the checkout did too, but that seems normal in Japan. Additionally, the smoking rooms carry strong, lingering cigarette odors, which is worth mentioning. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.
