The bed and the hotel’s location were the best parts for me. The bathroom was problematic: the faucet on the sink was loose, the shower did not provide a full shower experience (no temperature issues), the bathroom was very small, and when opening the door it was difficult to get in. This is understandable given the room’s position on the attic.

I liked that the hotel isn't too far from the city. I didn't like that my Axel shirt disappeared; I accidentally left it in the wrong room, asked if anyone had seen it, and the staff said yes, it must be in the laundry, but an hour later she claimed it was thrown away and still hasn't responded. I left my favorite shirt before my trip tomorrow.

We discovered bedbugs in room 307 and have heard nothing for four weeks after reporting it; having visited Hotel Ruf twelve times before and always being very satisfied, this lack of response to damage compensation is deeply disappointing.

The room was okay. The promised breakfast was a farce or didn't happen at all, so we had to eat outside. Stairs and hallways were very dirty; the same large stains on the carpet in the stairwell or hallway that we found in 2024 are still there. The noise level from the venues outside the building stayed high until late at night. We won't book or recommend this hotel again.
