Nice guesthouse very close to the beach. Clean bathroom and bed. The only downside is that it gets pretty hot in the room, but the fan makes it manageable.

The location was great and quiet, and the owners were very friendly, even sharing some birthday cake. Breakfast was a treat with a tasty omelette, toast & jam, a plate of fruit, and a cafetiere of coffee (2 cups) all for 1000 LKR. The kitchen and balcony let me watch the world go by. Everything was fine.
The guesthouse was tucked away from the main road, quiet, close to the beach, the town centre and transport links.
The spot was quiet and lovely, with good food nearby, a beach and a liquor store within walking distance, and both the bus and train stations just a short stroll away. Nothing to complain about.
The place had a good location and the staff were warm. The only downside was ants, but that’s common in Sri Lanka.
