The room itself was fine. We slept very well on the double bed. We liked using the terrace to sit in the sun. The breakfast room seemed freshly and modernly renovated compared to the room. Stylishly furnished, plus the wonderful view, is a plus. The breakfast was also very good for us. The selection was excellent compared to the hotel in Cologne where we stayed a day earlier. A bus stop almost directly in front of the hotel makes it convenient to reach the centre, the docks or the station. The parking just a few steps from the hotel is ideal. The toilet for the room is in the stairwell, which is unacceptable! If it had been in the hallway… well, but in the cold, drafty stairwell, with even more foot traffic than in the small floor corridor? No! We’re older and need to use the toilet at night. NO! The room was very noisy. Okay, for indifferent, thoughtless guests, no hotel can do anything. But the bathroom noises from the neighbouring rooms were extremely loud.
