The beds were comfortable, and the lady who checked us out was super helpful and showed compassion with our issue. After checking in and opening the door, our room smelled so bad of strong bleach and wet dog, as if they had mopped part of the room with an old nasty mop head that had not been changed in a really long time; it smelled throughout the room and never went away, and the bedding was also overpowered by a bleach smell. When I received a text message from the front desk welcoming my stay and asking me to text them if there was anything I needed, I texted her back letting her know the issue about the smell and that the closet door wouldn't stay shut; she just said sorry and that she would let maintenance know and she didn't offer any accommodations or see if we wanted to even switch rooms. The breakfast looked horrible, so we went out to eat instead. This is one of the worst Hamptons we have ever stayed in.

All good, but the TV is big.

I felt very safe at the hotel, and breakfast was hot and fresh. On the day we had the room cleaned, the bed was not made properly; the covers were just messily put on. We did not receive more coffee, although we obviously used all they gave prior. There was mold above the bathroom door, and there were ants in the juice area at breakfast.

The check‑in went smoothly, the bed was set up with fresh sheets, and the lights and ice maker down the hall were functioning. The woman at the front desk was very friendly—probably the nicest thing that happened. On the downside, the couch was filthy and had a 1.5‑ft cut, the desk chair was dirty, slanted to the right, and I worried it might collapse. The shower conditioner was empty, and the toilet seat had to be held or it would fall. Aside from the clean bed, nothing else was redeeming.
