“Won't be going back.”
The room had an odd smell and needed airing out; the hotel feels old-fashioned.

We were treated well and the staff were friendly, but the floor in the room had a step and the shower cubicle grout had many colours.

Breakfast was nice.

The food was good, but the smoking area between the hotel and the garage was covered in bird droppings; a few minutes with a pressure washer would fix it. The first night’s dinner had only four tables in use, and the staff directed diners to distant corners of the room, which felt very anti‑social.

The hotel was cosy comfortable and the facilities were excellent. In room refreshments were excellent. A proper old fashioned hotel with modern facilities. Nothing
