“it was adequate for what we needed”
The place was close to everything we wanted, but the room felt very tiny and squishy.

The décor was nice and the bed was comfortable.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and tidy, but a proper breakfast would have been nice.

The welcome was warm, and the pub staff offered to lift our luggage. As the listing said, music can be heard in the room, so bring earplugs on the weekend. The bedding was comfortable. If the room’s 20 m² includes the bathroom and hallway, you’ll actually get a little over 10 m² of usable space, so the area feels cramped. The fan was dusty, as was the top of the wardrobe. If you want a decent breakfast, stay away; a paper bag on the desk held industrial croissants and chocolate pastries wrapped in cellophane. They told us there was no breakfast on site, and the provided dishes were questionable in hygiene, requiring us to clean them before use, plus the coffee machine repeatedly malfunctioned. In the morning you’ll be alone in the pub with no assistance or support.
